In this week's prep sports podcast we recap the First Round of the CIF-SS Football playoffs and which local area teams are moving on to the Quarter Finals and their opponent. In segment two we spotlight two student athletes from the Diamond Ranch Panthers football team. Both Hunter Clark and Kaleb Gibson work hard in the classroom as well as on the football field.We also analyze and recap in detail the epic First Round game that was our game of the week, Etiwanda vs Diamond Ranch. In segment three we review the upcoming Division 6 Quarter Final game Crespi vs Ayala which is the Sportscenetv game of the week. Also, in the third segment we reflect on the life of Charter Oak Chargers head football coach Lou Farrar who recently passed away. Coach Farrar touched many lives and truly is a legend whose legacy will live on forever.
In this new episode of the Sportscenetv Weekly Prep Sports Podcast we recap the final week of the regular season in the 2019 prep football year. In segment two, we have the privilege to interview the Ayala Bulldogs offensive line and learn about these student athletes educational and career goals. We talk to coach Gracia about the team's big win over Bonita that makes the Bulldogs the 2019 Palomares League Champion and remain undefeated with an undefeated overall record of 9-0 and 4-0 league record.
Then in Segment Two Part 2, we interview Diamond Ranch head football coach Eric Martinez to talk about the Panthers victory over South Hills that makes the Panthers the 2019 Hacienda League Champions.
In Segments Three we recap the CIF Southern Section Top 10 Prep Football Polls and talk about the upcoming game of the week Alta Loma vs. Ayala.
The Sportscenetv Weekly Prep Sports Podcast recaps our prep football game of the week coverage Colony vs. Ayala. We also look at other area high school football scores for Week 8 games.
In segment two, we add two more student athletes to our Sportscenetv Scholar Athlete roster. Cole McCain is a four year starter at the quarterback position at Ayala High School. The Bulldog's quarterback currently holds a grade point average over 4.0 and math is his favorite class. We also add Gilbert Duran of the Ayala Bulldogs football program. Duran is a team leader that also enjoys math as his favorite subject and holds a grade point average of 3.6 and a senior. We welcome both students to the elite roster of the Sportscenetv Scholar Athletes for 2019.
Finally, in segment three we recap the CIF-SS Top 10 Prep Football Polls and the upcoming games. We mention our game of the week will be South Hills at Diamond Ranch. We also look at the CIF-SS press release that explains the formal way teams in Division 1/2 will be categorized and if the season were over today what area teams would be in the playoffs.

Anthony and Brian discuss the two games recently forfeited by Upland High School due to player ineligibility rules.Then, Josh Thompson of the Champion Newspapers joins the show to discuss the recent news of Chino Hills head football coach Chris Stevens and Athletic Director Sam Sabbara resigning from their positions due to an incident of pranking and teasing of players on the freshman football team.
